Dr. Naomi King is an Education Specialist in the Department of Nursing Practice, Research, and Professional Development at The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City, Kansas. She has been with The University of Kansas Health System since 2004. She recently received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in May of this year. She is a certified crisis prevention intervention instructor by the Crisis Prevention Institute; and she is a certified medical-surgical nurse. She continues to lead the Patient Safety Assistant behavioral health program and other education initiatives for unlicensed nursing staff within the organization.
