Dana Riffel MSN Ed, RN

Dana Riffel has been a registered nurse for the past 27 years, mostly in acute care settings. She has clinical experience in medical-surgical, peri-op, inter-op, and post-op areas; intensive and progressive care areas; emergency department; and various nursing leadership positions all serving a variety of patient populations. Dana is currently a nurse educator for the medical-surgical RN float pool, unlicensed float pool PCAs, wound ostomy team, and corrections unit. As a nurse educator at a large academic medical center, Dana has incorporated her clinical knowledge and experience to help develop various didactic and simulation-based courses to promote realistic learning experiences for newer nurses.
