Linda Lakdawala is a certified perianesthesia nurse and President-Elect for the American Board of Perianestheisa Nurses. She received her Bachelor and Master’s Degree of Nursing from Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2010 at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. Her capstone project focused on the follow-through care of the perioperative patient with sleep apnea. She is the chair for a system-wide obstructive sleep apnea screening protocol at UPMC. She holds a position as an advanced clinical education specialist at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, serves as adjunct faculty at Carlow and Chatham Universities, and takes call for the Shadyside Hospital PACU.
