Erica Yates is the Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and the Acute Rehabilitation Unit at the Cleveland Clinic. She graduated from Kent State University in 2007 where she was awarded the July Hollander Bess award for her academic excellence. She then started her career as an RN at University Hospital Case Medical Center where she worked on a medical-surgical unit. After completing graduate school at Kent State University, Erica took a position as a CNS at the Cleveland Clinic, where she currently serves as the clinical expert and clinical leader of her units. She became a certified rehabilitation registered nurse in 2012.
