Charlene Griffin MSN, APRN, ACNS-BC

Charlene Griffin is an impassioned nurse with a medical-surgical, oncology/orthopedic experience in nursing for twenty five years. She obtained her BSN and MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from La Salle University and completed her post masters as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at the University of Pennsylvania. She works full time at Einstein Medical Center-Philadelphia as a CNS and part time as an adjunct clinical faculty at La Salle University. She also continues to stay at the bedside working per diem as a staff nurse on a Medical-Surgical Unit. She wrote an article for the Healthy Work Environments Series in MedSurg Matters: Enpowerment strategies for the medical-surgical nurse dealing with lateral violence and found the same strategies for effective communication can be applicable when discussing effective peer to peer review interaction.
