Dr. Mary Beth Modic is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Diabetes at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Modic has more than three decades of experience in nursing practice, education, consultation, and research. She is a recognized expert in the field of diabetes nursing, clinical teaching, and mentoring. She is the co-creator and facilitator of an innovative clinical empowerment experience for clinical nurses known as MAGNUS and along with her Cleveland Clinic colleagues, she published a book for patients and their loved ones entitled, “Navigating your Hospital Stay: A Guide Written by Expert Nurses.”
