Leisa Kelly is the Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Medical and Post-Surgical Divisions at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She received her Associates degree from Miami University of Ohio, Bachelor’s degree from Otterbein College, and Master’s degree from Ohio State University. As a CNS, Leisa promotes evidence-based practice through interdisciplinary collaboration, staff nurse education, and participation in research projects. She was the recipient of the Advanced Practice Nurse of the Year award at the Annual Louisiana ANA Nightingale Awards in 2014. Leisa is a current member of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses, American Nurses Association, Emergency Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau.
