Barbara Warren has 40 years of clinical nursing experience and over 30 years as a nurse educator. She is completed her undergraduate nursing degree at Duquesne University and her Master's at Catholic University of America. Barbara was an Air Force nurse and has taught in a variety of settings from Baccalaureate Undergraduate Nursing in Baltimore, MD, to the RN Refresher Program in Dallas, TX. Since 1999, Barbara has been a Nurse Education Specialist with a focus on support staff new hire orientation at Baylor University Medical Center (Dallas, TX) - The Center for Nursing Education and Research. Barbara teaches in Baylor's "tiered internships" discussing delegation, co-leads Clinical Coach Classes, and is part of the educational resource team that introduces nursing staff to electronic health record documentation. Barbara has had posters accepted at the AMSN national convention for several years, has served on AMSN's Website Committee, is the current President of North Texas AMSN-Chapter 205 (Dallas, TX) and is the Web Editor of their chapter's website.
