Roseanne DeFrancisco MSN, RN, CMSRN

Roseanne DeFrancisco has been a registered nurse for 24 years and is a certified medical-surgical registered nurse. She is a 2008 graduate of Wilmington University with a master of science degree in nursing. Currently, Roseanne is the clinical outcomes manager for Inspira Medical Center – Elmer in Elmer, NJ, a Magnet-designated facility. In her position, Roseanne is responsible for the educational and professional development of nurses in the clinical areas of critical care, step-down, acute care, and surgical services. She serves on multiple quality and shared governance councils and is a member of the Inspira Health Network Institutional Review Board. Roseanne is the chair of her institution's system-wide research council. Roseanne is a member of AMSN, AACN, STTI, and SHET NJ.

In 2011, Roseanne was honored with the Nursing Excellence Award for Teaching for the Delaware Valley tri-state area and in 2012 she was awarded the Leadership in Mentoring Award from the Organization of Nurse Executives of New Jersey. She is a contributing author to the publication Creative Solutions to Enhance Nursing Quality.

Roseanne is a faculty member of the nursing allied health division undergraduate program for Wilmington University. She is the primary investigator of an original nursing research study entitled “Bariatric Surgery Lifestyle Alterations: Are Patients Coping?” She has presented her original research study at both the local and national levels. She is a co-investigator of a 2013 IRB-approved nursing study entitled Impact of a Multidisciplinary Preoperative Total Joint Replacement Education Seminar on Patient Outcomes and Satisfaction and looks forward to disseminating the results of this study with her co-investigators.
