Dr. Linda Tjiong is presently the Director of Education & Research at Baylor Medical Center at McKinney. This year, her role focuses on on-boarding 400+ employees, orchestrated 125 different training topics in order to open a brand new hospital. The Baylor McKinney opened on July 6. Another part of her role is nursing research, in particular in the implementation and measurement of evidence-based caring, clinical outcomes and leadership. In the past, she has served as clinical educator, manager for women’s health service line, management engineer, director of patient care services, Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President patient care services, director of education & research for health systems. She teaches for the MSN program at Norwich University. Most recently she served as Sr. Consultant for the Baylor Health Care System in the implementation and measurement of patient centered care; and as Nursing Research Consultant at the Baylor Heart Hospital.
