For nurses practicing in the acute hospital setting, the reality is this – you are not only taking care of a patient you are taking care of a patient and their family. This webinar explores basic skills in caring for families of ill adults and reviews scenarios of ‘difficult’ family interactions with nursing care recommendations.
Outcome: 65% of participants who complete the evaluation will identify one support intervention for families of ill adults that they can implement in their practice setting.
