This session discusses the value of advocacy for advancing issues related to the nursing profession, recognizing the valuable role that the voice of nursing plays in legislative issues related to healthcare policy.

After completing this learning activity, the participant will be able to know how to take action to support medical-surgical nursing on key federal health policy issues.
