113 - Let Go: De-Implement to Provide Exceptional Care

It is imperative for experienced medical-surgical nurses to embrace their role as mentors and use best practices to provide high-quality patient care. This session empowers nurses to do just that as one of the foundations of de-implementation science involves engaging a unit-based champion to support the practice change. Additional details about de-implementation science, including strategies to “let go” and provide exceptional, safe, and cost-effective nutritional care to your patients are shared.

Learning Outcome:
After completing this learning activity, the participant will be able to identify three clinical practices needing de-implementation action.
