This session explores research related to the current state of leadership in the field of nursing as well as the link between diverse leadership and healthcare equity. Participants share personal narratives including strategies that contributed to their ascension to leadership positions. The session concludes with action steps that nurses can take to propel their career forward.

Diversity . Leaders step back look, feel culture and lead make people accountable . I agree sometimes staff our overlooked because of degrees and not the person and job they can do.
