OD07 - Parallel Pandemics: The 1918 Spanish Flu and 2020 COVID-19

This session describes the natural development of the pandemics of 1918 and 2020, the state of scientific knowledge at the onset of the diseases, clinical issues that were identified, public health measures that were implemented, and treatment strategies that were developed and put into practice.
