This session includes an overview of the pathophysiology and
diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Treatment for both
inpatients and outpatients are discussed as well as discharge care. The
long-term effects of COVID-19 on patients and their families are reviewed,
which includes COVID-19 "long haulers" and post-intensive care
