OD02 - Caring for Military and Veteran Patients: Applying the Evidence

This presentation provides a background on the U.S. military to include demographics and culture, use evidence to assist in highlighting the unique health care needs of the military/veteran population, highlight resources available to military and veterans, suggest practical applications for medical-surgical nurses and their managers, and provide discussion and feedback from active duty military nurses.
