Even the best nurses make errors. Teamwork has been proven to decrease some errors in care delivery models. This session provides examples of how these errors occur and demonstrate how teamwork can decrease the likelihood of these errors reoccurring. See how the quality of care established by error reduction, system redesigns, and the teamwork culture can play a role in establishing a new care delivery model.

Great presenter. Presentation concise, focused, direct and appealing. Presentation very engaging. I enjoyed the topic and hope someday my facility would see many events as system failures and stop blaming the individuals when events happen. Great to hear experiences of others. The standardization of color coding things ought to be mandated for all healthcare facilities e.g. Yellow for Falls should be same everywhere. I will discuss with my Risk Manager & Leadership on the need to have some of our processes changed.
