We implemented the Bedside Shift Report in 2010. Our main issue with BS report is compliance and accountability. As co-chair of the Service Excellence (HCAHPS) Committee this information this topic was brought up recently in one of our monthly meetings. This information will be very useful to carrying out our next steps in trying to improve accountability for BS Shift Reporting.

I love the 'Room Disaster' assessment during BS reporting. One barrier we still face is compliance.
