I really enjoyed this session as I see many patients with blood pressure issues from varying problems, mainly diabetes or renal failure. I sometimes get confused as to what the Ace inhibitors, calcium channel blockers, and beta blockers are so we had our pharmacist make up a list for us. I do know that we always give our beta blockers before any procedure the patients go down for, so having a list is very helpful when preparing our patient for surgery or any other procedure.
