Medical-surgical nurses care for many types of patients with different diagnoses and co-morbidities. Along with these different illnesses come a wide variety of medications that must be administered. This session will help nurses review the different classes of medications and evaluate which nursing assessments must be completed. Nurses will leave with greater confidence about their ability to safely administer medication and effectively care for patients.
