311 - Intensive Insulin Therapies During Hospitalization and Beyond

Evidence indicates that glycemic control of the hospitalized patient with hyperglycemia improves health outcomes both in and out of the hospital. This session focuses on the role of intensive insulin therapy in managing the hospitalized patient and provide the medical-surgical nurse with information to successfully transition the patient for discharge.
