301 - Improve Patient Outcomes by Identifying and Addressing Malnutrition Through a Multi-disciplinary Approach

This session and the corresponding CE are compliments of AMSN, a founding member of the Alliance to Advance Patient Nutrition. Our intent is to bring awareness and solutions to healthcare providers for the problem of malnutrition in hospitalized patients. Login or create an account to access this session at no charge.

Hospital malnutrition is a serious, yet underappreciated problem that affects patient care and contributes to increased health care costs. Highlighting research about the impact nutrition has on reducing readmissions, length of stay and improving patient outcomes, this session provides nurses with resources to improve clinician collaboration and effectively institute nutrition practices. This session was offered in support of The Alliance to Advance Patient Nutrition initiative.
