MedSurg Nursing Journal


Published six times a year, MEDSURG Nursing is the official journal of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN).  The journal provides its readers with the interprofessional information they need to provide clinically excellent patient care and enhance their nursing practice. 

Continuing nursing education credit (CNE) / Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) contact hours can be earned by completing the learning activity associated with each CNE article. Details about the requirements for successful completion of the learning activity, accreditation information, presence or absence of conflicts of interest for individuals in a position to control the content, learning outcome, and learning engagement activity can be viewed by clicking on the title of the CNE / NCPD article.
