Child life specialists fulfill roles beyond the pediatric practice setting—they seek to support children and their families when a loved one is faced with a chronic diagnosis, is critically ill, traumatically injured, or nearing end of life. This webinar explores the role of a child life specialist in an adult practice setting, strategies to understand the developmental underpinnings of children/teens, and ways to support them through the stress of illness.

Outcome: 65% of participants who complete the evaluation will identify one strategy they can implement in their practice setting to support the families of adult patients they serve.
