This session will review and discuss flow rate dynamics on IV pumps, the various factors that influence flow rate accuracy, best practices to ensure that the pump delivers the medication as intended, how to troubleshoot pump alarms/alerts, and the impact pressure settings have on medication delivery and alarms.
