303A: Patient-Centered Fall Prevention: A Quasi-Experimental Approach to Hospital Education Programming - Falls represent a significant health concern, with over 37 million incidents occurring worldwide each year, emphasizing the urgent need for effective prevention strategies. This presentation examines hospital-based research that highlights the critical role of patient involvement in safety initiatives. A key finding from this patient-centered approach was a notable alignment between nurse and patient perceptions of fall risk. This alignment not only increased awareness but also fostered safer behaviors, paving the way for improved patient outcomes.
