11A: Evidence Based Multimodal Pain Management and Early Mobilization in Fracture Care: Joined at the Hip - This presentation will explore the prevalence of hip fractures and the stress response associated with surgical repair. It will also address the role that multimodal pain management and early mobilization, as part of a hip fracture care pathway, play in mitigating the stress response.
111B: Leveraging Virtual Nursing for Effective Pain Reassessment - During this session we will discuss the impact of Virtual Nursing in supporting bedside nurses, with a focus on pain reassessment. We will explore how virtual nursing teams collaborate with bedside staff to enhance pain management, improve patient outcomes and discover effective tools and techniques that facilitate real-time communication, along with real-world success stories demonstrating the benefits of this innovative approach. This session will provide valuable insights for nurses and healthcare leaders on optimizing pain reassessment virtually.
