Description

"Healthcare workers frequently feel unprepared to talk with patients and their families about end-of-life issues. Family communication at the end of life is frequently examined and discussed as goals of care and advanced directives. While these aspects of care are extremely important, this webinar examines family relationships—not provider to patient or provider to family relationships—and strategies to build professional resiliency and confidence to navigate end-of-life issues. Outcome 65% of participants who complete the evaluation will self-report increased confidence to facilitate final conversations with patients and families during end-of-life.

TARGET AUDIENCE Health care workers who encounter patients at the end of their life and their families at any stage of their career.
