This webinar provides an overview of prevalence, types of pain, and common pain interventions. Updates are provided regarding common pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions. The session concludes with a recent undergraduate student project exploring chronic pain interventions in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

LEARNING OUTCOME At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to appropriately assess and treat pain in the Medical-Surgical patient.
