Graham Nichol completed medical school and residency at the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario. He obtained a Master of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health, Boston, MA. He serves as Leonard A Cobb Medic One Foundation Endowed Chair in Prehospital Emergency Care, director of the University of Washington-Harborview Center for Pre Hospital Emergency Care, professor of medicine and emergency medicine at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA. For more than 20 years, he has conducted clinical research to improve the process and outcome of care for patients with acute life-threatening illness. For the last four years, he was named one of the world's most highly-cited scientists by Thompson-Reuters (now Clarivate Analytics).
