Clinical Nurse Specialist

Amanda Golino is a clinical nurse specialist practicing in Virginia with certifications in critical care nursing, critical care clinical nurse specialist, pain management, and trauma nursing. She has served as a principal investigator on a nursing research study titled “Impact of an Active Music Therapy Intervention on Intensive Care Patients” published in American Journal of Critical Care, 2019 which was presented at a national nursing conference. She currently serves as a community representative on the Loudoun Health Commission and has proudly assisted one of the nursing units she supports in pursuing the Prism award of medical-surgical nursing excellence. She has participated in various nursing panels as an expert related to safe practices advocating for the FDA to overturn their ban on MSM blood donation. She is currently a student pursuing a DNP at University of Virginia.
