Yalanda Comeaux MSN, MJ, RN, CMSRN

Yalanda Comeaux is a clinical nurse at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She is also adjunct faculty at Elmhurst College of Nursing and Health Sciences and Loyola University. Her nursing background includes working as a clinical nurse in the post-operative area with previous work experience in areas of critical care and medical-surgical units. Yalanda was the 2016 AMSN Nurse in Washington Internship (NIWI) Grant winner and serves as chair for AMSN's Legislative Team. With a Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law and Policy, Yalanda has been able to review, revise, and develop policies and guidelines in nursing practice for best patient outcomes within the workplace. Additionally, she has experience in grant reviewing and has completed contract assignments in reviewing federal grants.
