Dr. Virginia Hallenbeck has been a nurse for over 40 years and a nurse educator for over 25 years. She retired from The Ohio State University Medical Center where she served as a clinical nurse specialist working with staff on three medical-surgical units. She previously taught for Indiana Wesleyan University in their BSN completion and master's program. She currently serves as a visiting professor for Chamberlain College of Nursing and an online educator teaching at all levels of practice. Additionally, she travels nationwide conducting review courses for students preparing for the NCLEX exam. Dr. Hallenbeck has served as both a member of and the chairperson for the AMSN PRISM award committee and is a member of the AMSN program convention planning committee..
