Dr. Tracy Fogarty Scheirer is an associate professor of nursing at Alvernia University in Reading, Pennsylvania. She has been a nurse for over 30 years and has worked clinically in medical-surgical, intensive care, outpatient OB/GYN, community health, and pediatric settings. Currently, she teaches med/surg fundamentals, transcultural nursing, and ethical leadership at Alvernia University and serves as the founder and chairperson of the Berks Immunization Coalition, an advocacy organization that seeks to educate the community about the benefits of vaccination.
