Associate Professor, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Lewis University

Donna Martin has been a registered nurse for over 30 years. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Truman Junior College in Chicago; her BSN from Loyola University; a Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration from St. Francis University; her MSN in Nursing Education from Lewis University; and her DNP in Nursing Leadership. Her specialties include medical surgical nursing and diabetes. She has been a certified medical surgical nurse and certified diabetes educator for more than 20 years. She currently teaches in a BSN program at Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, and works as a Joint Commission Disease Specific Care reviewer for Advanced Inpatient Diabetes management certification programs.
