Dr. Chen attended medical school at the University of Maryland. He works for Centegra Health Systems in McHenry, Illinois, where he started the Neurohospitalist program and served as the Medical Director of Stroke Services. As a neurohospitalist, Dr. Chen is the first person you call when your patient is having a stroke. He is also the person most dependent on you in being able to recognize and assess a stroke. Dr. Chen is a strong advocate for stroke education and has been educating patients, nurses, and other physicians for years.
