Melissa Armstrong has been a medical nurse for over 20 years. She began her career at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and then returned to school to pursue her Clinical Specialist Degree in Gerontology at the University of Vermont . Melissa has worked in multiple practice settings including an inpatient neurology unit, and she currently facilitates the Parkinson's Support Group. Melissa has a passion for helping nurses provide excellent care to their patients. In her current role as Clinical Practice Educator at Reading Health System in Pennsylvania, she assists in the transition to practice of graduate nurses and the professional development of clinical nurses. Melissa was recognized by her peers and staff with the Excellence in Teaching and Mentoring Award in 2015.
