John Cormele MSN, RN, CEN, EMT-P

Mr. John Cornele is currently the Director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Clinical Simulation (CICSP) and a clinical instructor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions at Drexel University. He has been involved in all aspects of clinical simulation from scenario design to faculty education, moulage, and manikin programming since 2007. Mr. Cornele earned his BSN from Widener University and his MSN from Drexel University. He maintains professional affiliations with the Emergency Nurses Association and American Heart Association, and is active in nurse advocacy groups at the state and local levels. Mr Cornele is a certified nurse educator (CNE). Mr. Cornele has presented workshops in airway management, nursing and paramedic educational issues, PDA implementation topics, simulation development, use of standardized patients and the art and science of moulage nationally and internationally. Clinically, Mr. Cornele continues to work as a staff nurse in the Emergency Department at Hahnemann University Hospital and Trauma Center.
