Nicole Wiswesser is the patient care coordinator of 6 Tower, a 30-bed medical-surgical unit; She has managerial responsibilities as part of the unit leadership team, but spends the majority of her time as a clinical nurse at the bedside. Nicole is a board-certified medical-surgical nurse and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in nursing leadership and health systems management. Nicole is passionate about implementing practice changes to improve patient care, such as the ED throughput project detailed in this presentation.
