Alissa Schick is a nurse manager for Baylor Scott and White Health. She has over 16 years of nursing experience working in various roles within acute care settings. She has worked as an ICU nurse, nurse educator, coordinator for schools of nursing, nursing supervisor, and nurse manager. She received her BSN degree in 2003 and her MSN degree in nursing administration with a graduate educator certificate in 2013. She has been nurse executive board certified since 2018. She was nominated and chosen to complete a nurse executive fellowship program within her institution and completed the fellowship program in 2019. She has a vast knowledge of working with front-line staff to drive quality indicators and decrease length of stay through various projects she has implemented and led within her institution.
