Terri Hinkley EdD, MBA, BScN, RN

Dr. Terri Hinkley is an experienced non-profit CEO and registered nurse with a passion for improving association and healthcare/nursing industries and driving innovation through strategic thinking and visionary leadership. As the CEO of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses and the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board, she is responsible for the leadership of the internal operations and strategic leadership in partnership with volunteer boards. She holds a doctorate of education in human and organizational learning from George Washington University. Her research interests include workforce development in volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous environments; strategic thinking; nurse identity; moral injury; health care innovation; and second victim syndrome in registered nurses, which serves as the topic for the session being presented.
