Description

Failure to rescue (FTR) related to delays in activation of rapid response teams (RRT) is on the rise, leading to poor patient outcomes. This session describes a research study evaluating the effectiveness of using scripted in-situ situations (ISS) to increase nurse confidence with RRT and confidently communicate with healthcare providers.

Learning Outcome:
After completing this learning activity, the participant will be able to identify two clinical signs which warrant activation of the rapid response team.
