This session describes the results of a study on the costs and outcomes of an early deterioration detection solution (EDDS), which assists in identifying patients at risk of clinical decline. Details on the methods used to determine the cost impact of the EDDS are described.

After completing this learning activity, the participant will be able to discuss how implementation of an early deterioration detection solution (EDDS) can impact the cost of delivering care.
