Description

This presentation discusses the history of insulin, beginning 100 years ago and originally extracted from animals. Today, we have many insulin options. We examine the different types and go into how to select and utilize them for given patient scenarios.

At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to describe the insulin options and how to select for given patient scenarios.
