Description

This webinar outlines policy issues shaping med-surg nursing practice and patient care, including response to the COVID pandemic. We review AMSN member-led strategies for effective professional advocacy and demonstrate advocacy as career development.

Learning Outcome 
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to advance med-surg nursing practice and patient care by participating in AMSN professional advocacy legislative calls to action, AMSN Legislative Advocacy Center, and apply advocacy skills to professional development.
