An opioid knowledge survey found there are knowledge gaps of health care workers in the areas of potency differences, equianalgesic conversions, opioid dosing, and pharmacokinetics. This session reviews these knowledge gaps and common opioid errors, along with the JCAHO Sentinel Event Alert for Safe Use and delivery of opioids in hospitals.
