Description

This session discusses the physiology of acute kidney injury, medication, and treatments for renal support in a patient with pre-existing chronic kidney disease. Review of a thorough nursing assessment, past medical history, medication review, and review of systems are incorporated into a plan of care promoting preservation of renal function.
