Description

Care of patients with enteral feeding tubes is often based on tradition or unsupported interventions rather than evidence. Using a case study format, this session examines current evidence and best practice regarding feeding tube placement confirmation, gastric residual volume, aspiration precautions, medication administration, and declogging methods.
