Medical surgical nurses’ knowledge of intravascular fluid status may be limited. Most nurses currently rely on inaccurate techniques such as heart rate, blood pressure, and urine output. This webinar will discuss the results of a national survey of evaluating nurses' understanding of fluid assessment and management.

Learning Outcome:
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to discuss the implications of medical surgical nurses’ knowledge on intravascular fluid status, monitoring, and patient outcomes.
